Just look at the gaping hole around Singapore – also explains why the temperatures have been soaring over the last few days! It’s not looking good this weekend but Saturday will be better than Sunday! It’s light and variable and the weekly pattern has been… light Northeasterly in the morning with the wind backing to the North before midday and then fading over lunch. It returns in the late afternoon but nothing to jump for.
If you’ve been sailing the last series of races and clinics, perhaps now is the weekend for a break! Looks like a big LOW over the Philippines right now so when that moves west a bit we might get the tail end of it. (Next weekend for the Formula Champ’s would be good). Looking at the chart above, Bali appears to still be having wind – go Henry.
I’d also say here that the 24.3 knots we ‘set’ on the Nacra 20 will be the record for the season!..
