NEW RELEASE – RACING the Monsoon

racing the monsoon

The last season was a great one and to make it all the more special, we’ve compiled a lot of nice photos into a hard cover book that will be a great keep sake for everyone in the Cat Fleet.

Click here for a brilliant preview it is a coffee table book that makes most people look ‘famous’ and summarises the season in speed at Changi. The format is minimum text and large glossy pictures, so no one should have trouble reading it, even me!

It also has, what I consider the quote of the season –
“Dark was falling as a great wind hit and sped us off at full tilt with the Coast Guard attempting to flag us over. They soon they gave up pursuit and we roared back to savor a well-deserved beer and the last sausage from the club barbeque. Wet, tired and high on adrenaline, I looked forward to more time ‘riding the groove’!”

And if you can’t guess who that is? – well you’ll have to thumb through the hard copy in the Blue Lizard Sports shop. Autographed copies are available in the shop. For those in other regions, you can order a copy direct from the site…follow the preview link above and then look it the top right corner. It’ll be delivered to you anywhere in the cat sailing universe.

Enjoy the ride…and remember pilgrims, you’re only as fast as how hard you push! So push it to “infinity and beyonddddd”!

About prosailing

In Southeast Asia a long time and all the while, sailing cats. But the cat love-affair began when I finished building my first catamaran at age 15... "never again". After building 2 more Formula 16 cats in Malaysia it's really 'never again'. Now we have a large fleet of high-tech speed machines including the Nacra 20 Carbon. Then we decided to spread our wings a little more and imported the Corsair Dash 750. Now we are well on the way to establishing a Coastal One Design Dash Class. As a test bed, we had 4 Dashes take part in the Neptune Regatta and now the plans are rolling out.
